Sound Healing & Horses - Day 2

This is my second time with the horses and sound healing …. and we chose Aunt Betsy to have some one-on-one time with sound.

We noticed how attentive she was in the last session when I brought sound healing to the herd.

This one-on-one time was nothing short of incredible!!!

Before the sound healing we brought her in from outside to be groomed. Nina showed me how to groom her and as I did she kept turning her head in agitation and looking at me straight in the eye.

Turns out she was trying to communicate something to me. She has a couple of very sore spots on her back and she knows I’m new to her body and was worried I would touch them. Her agitation and determination with her gaze was to let me know “please don’t press hard on those spots.”

I felt her agitation and so I suggested to Nina, how about I try sound healing while you groom her?

And when the sound began her entire energy and focus shifted. She went from anxious and agitated to calm and centred, ears focusing on the sound healing and her body started to settle and calm.

Nina and I were both amazed as we witnessed the visible shift in Aunt Betsy’s energy and body language.

After grooming Aunt Betsy, we took her to the round pen to give her space to feel the sound and respond while she was free to move.

I was overjoyed, to say the least, as she came right up to me and the sound exploring and feeling its energy.

Horses are energetic geniuses. They feel everything and reflect back to you the energy you are holding. It melted my heart to notice how safe she felt with me and the sound.

Oh my gosh, my dream of experimenting with sound and horses is coming true AND my dream of connecting with horses heart to heart. I’m so in love with these majestic creatures.
